This was the third showing of Mike’s set of six circular neon birdsong pieces which foreground the value of our acoustic environment. The form of each piece was drawn from Geoff Sample’s sonograms of each bird (From left to right – Nuthatch; Goldcrest; Spotted Flycatcher; Wren; Mistle Thrush and Great Tit).
The work was installed as part of VARC’s celebration of the organisation’s 25th anniversary.
