1 & 2: Out of the Darkness – Here we have Redstart, Robin and Blackbird with memories of Greenfinch, Goldfinch and Chiffchaff experienced in the vibrations of the cool, early morning air.
3: The early morning air enveloped in mist; sun iridescent. Shimmering song of Spotted Flycatcher, Great Tit, Nuthatch, Chaffinch Wren, Goldcrest, Blue Tit, Dunnock Greenfinch, Goldfinch and Chiffchaff.
4 & 5 The air, now swollen with birdsong, warms as the day begins to open up; Wren, Goldcrest, Spotted Flycatcher, Blue Tit, Dunnock, Greenfinch, Goldfinch and Chiffchaff. Old masters used to paint/scumble blue over a red ground to activate the sky, creating space and depth. Here the red/yellow/orange neumatic notations vibrate and breath within the blue ground to intensify the azure vault of heaven.
