LISTEN: Singing the World: A Dawn Chorus

Following our show at Drawing Project’s UK in October 2018, Bennett Hogg and I were invited to headline the Project Listen at Black Swan Arts.
Working with curators Mel Day and Helen Ottaway, Arnaud Moinet and I installed the exhibition whilst Tom Jordan worked on presenting the wall drawing at the end of the gallery (see installation shots). For this new showing of the project, Bennett composed what he rather wonderfully nicknamed a series of ‘piano scribbles’ to accompany and randomly interact with his originally score for seven pianos, adding an extraordinary richness and depth to his sound sculpture in the gallery.
